A woman had bought a pony for her young daughter. Unfortunately, the little girl and the pony just didn’t seem to be getting on. After communicating with the pony, I learnt that the pony’s previous owner had been a boy aged 12 years old. This pony was VERY upset for being sold to this family with a little girl! After tuning in with the pony and explaining to her that she would be loved just as much as before and that she must be gentle with the little girl, there was a tremendous difference in the pony’s behaviour. On checking where the pony had come from, the new owners found out that sure enough, the previous owners were a family with a 12 year old boy, who had outgrown the pony and had decided to get a horse. While reading this pony, I was also able to pick up on her likes and dislikes with regards to feeding and making her more comfortable in her new environment. I was then able to pass on this message to the new owners and the pony was able to settle in more quickly with the new family.
Personally, I would not give a fig for any man’s religion whose horse, cat and dog do not feel its benefits. Life in any form is our perpetual responsibility. ~ S. Parkes Cadman
